Cocktails For Pride 2023

The Coco Connection cocktail

Pride celebrations go throughout the month of June, and it’s a great time to show off your most colorful and vibrant cocktails. When it’s Pride time, we often like to round up a recipe for every color of the rainbow. We’re talking the full Roy G Biv spectrum we learned about in science class! Here is our colorful cocktail selection for Pride 2023.

The Coco Connection cocktail

The Coco Connection

Course Drinks
Keyword coconut liqueur, Grenadine, lime, raspberry syrup, vodka

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ oz. Crystal Head vodka
  • ¾ oz. Coconut liqueur
  • ¾ oz. Lime juice
  • ½ Raspberry syrup
  • 1 tsp. Grenadine syrup

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  • Double strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass.
  • Garnish with a raspberry skewer.

Tiendita Margarita

Tiendita Margarita

Course Drinks
Keyword agave, lime, tamarind soda, tequila

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. 1800 Cristalino tequila
  • ¾ oz. Lime juice
  • ¾ oz. Agave syrup
  • 3 oz. Jarritos Tamarind soda
  • Tajín spice to rim

Instructions

  • Combine tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup in a mixing tin.
  • Add ice and shake.
  • Strain into rocks glass (half rimmed with Tajín) over fresh ice.
  • Top with Tamarind Jarritos.
  • Garnish with a tamarind candy stick.

Smokey and the Bandit cocktail

Smokey and the Bandit

Course Drinks
Keyword habernero syrup, lime, mezcal, tequila, velvet falernum

Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Lunazul tequila
  • 1 oz. Vida mezcal
  • ¾ oz. Lime juice
  • ½ oz. Tropical habanero syrup
  • ½ oz. Velvet Falernum

Instructions

  • Rim a rocks glass with smoked salt and add ice to glass.
  • Shake all ingredients vigorously.
  • Strain into glass.
  • Garnish with a dehydrated lime wheel.

The Florida Cocktail

The Florida Cocktail

Course Drinks
Keyword green creme de menthe, lime, rum

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Bacardi Anejo Cuatro rum
  • ¼ oz. Green crème de menthe
  • ¼ oz. Lime juice
  • 3 dashes of Saline
  • Mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  • In a highball/Collins glass, build over 3 ice cubes.
  • Fill halfway with fluffy pineapple juice.
  • Stir again and top with more pineapple.
  • Garnish with a mint sprig.

Amalfi Coast cocktail

Amalfi Coast

Course Drinks
Keyword Blue Curaçao, gin, Italicus, lemon, prosecco, Simple syrup

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Gin
  • ½ oz. Italicus 
bergamot liqueur
  • ½ oz. Simple syrup
  • ½ oz. Fresh lemon juice
  • Dekuyper Blue Curaçao
  • Prosecco

Instructions

  • Combine gin, Italicus, syrup and lemon in a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice and shake vigorously.
  • Pour into a Champagne flute that’s been rimmed with sugar.
  • Top with prosecco and 8 drops of Blue Curaçao.
  • Garnish with a lemon ribbon.

Magenta cocktail

Course Drinks
Keyword butterfly pea flower tea, gin, ginger juice, lavender syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Tanqueray 10 gin
  • ½ oz. Ginger juice
  • ½ oz. Lemon juice
  • ¾ oz. Lavender syrup
  • 1 bar spoon Butterfly pea powder
  • 3 dashes Kensington aromatic bitters
  • 1 oz. Fever-Tree sparkling water

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into a shaker.
  • Fill with ice and shake.
  • Strain into a coupe glass.
  • Garnish with flower.

Bang-Bang cocktail

Bang-Bang

Course Drinks
Keyword dry vermouth, lemon, Luxardo maraschino liqueur, tequila

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Avion silver tequila
  • ¾ oz. Lemon juice
  • ½ oz. Bianco vermouth
  • ¼ oz. Luxardo maraschino liqueur
  • ½ oz. House-made lavender-infused butterfly pea flower syrup
  • Pinch of edible glitter

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients into shaker.
  • Shake and strain into coupe glass.
  • Garnish with a lavender flower.
  • Top with a sprinkle of rainbow edible glitter.
