Magic Hat Brewing Company recently released Low Key – a new session IPA with a tropical hoppiness
This session IPA is light in body but potent in hops, with 4.5% ABV and 40 IBUs.
“When we brewed Low Key, we chose a variety of hops for particular reasons. We picked El Dorado for its candied, tropical bitterness, CTZ to add a note of pine, and finished it off with Chinook to give the beer a citrus aroma,” said Chris Rockwood, Head Brewer, Magic Hat, in a press release.
Low Key is available on draft at bars across the country. It will also be available in 6-pack bottles and 6-pack cans, as well as 16-oz. cans.
Low Key pairs well with light dishes, spicy tacos and grilled swordfish, the company says. It’s also a complement to brie, camembert and cheddar cheeses, as well as desserts, like sorbet and lemon cake.
