Abita Brewing has unveiled two new flavors: Big Easy, a low-ABV IPA, and Bayou Bootlegger, a hard root beer.
Big Easy IPA is 4.5% ABV and 40 IBUs. The beer is brewed with lemon peels and dry hopped with Cascade, Amarillo, Centennial and Simcoe for a hoppy aroma of citrus, fruit and pine, the company says.
Bayou Bootlegger is a hard root beer at 5.9% ABV. It’s gluten free. Bayou Bootlegger has aromas of wintergreen, vanilla and sassafras, and is made with Louisiana cane sugar.
