Gin brand Bombay Sapphire has partnered with fashion designer Christian Siriano on a cocktail couture collection as a continuation of its “Saw This, Made This” campaign. Siriano took inspiration from Bombay Sapphire cocktails to create a French 75-inspired haute couture gown, well as an upcoming gin cocktail attire capsule collection.
Siriano’s French 75-inspired gown, which took center stage at the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 New York Fashion Week show on Sept. 8, was designed with flourishes that transmute the celebratory cocktail’s zip of bubbles, tang of lemon juice and bright notes of gin. Created from champagne-tinged accents and with Bombay Sapphire’s signature blue-tinged bottle in mind, the gown is infused with custom-dyed fabrics and harkens back to the color profile and effervescence of the French 75.
The limited-edition capsule collection that will follow the French 75-inspired gown will take inspiration from three iconic gin cocktails – the Gin & Tonic, Martini and Collins. The line will be available to purchase this autumn on ChristianSiriano.com, just in time for the holiday season.
