Rogue 10 Hop IPA

05/08/2018

by: Kyle Swartz

Rogue Ales at its farm in Independence, Oregon (77 miles from the brewery in Newport) grows hops, marionberries, cucumbers, jalapenos, botanicals and also produce honeys. These go into the brand’s many products, including the newest entry in their Hop Family series: 10 Hop IPA.

10 Hop IPA is an imperial IPA brewed with Keven and Adair hops, which are new Rogue Farms crops. These hops — in addition to Rogue Farms Liberty, Newport, Revolution, Independent, Freedom, Rebel, Yaquina and Alluvial hops — give 10 Hop its tropical aromatics and notes of pine, the company says.

“Growing hops gives Rogue complete quality control, but more importantly, the ability to brew beers that best exemplify Oregon terroir,” the company says.

10 Hop IPA is available nationally in 22-ounce bottles and on draft. The suggested retail price is $6.99 per bottle.
