Gourmet burger chain Red Robin is offering two new summer beer cocktails served in a limited-edition, reusable beer can. The beer drinks are available in two styles, one using Coors Light and the other made with Blue Moon.
Red Robin’s Coors Light Can-Crafted Cocktail combines Coors Light, ginger liqueur and lemonade topped with a squeeze of fresh lemon. The Blue Moon Can-Crafted Cocktail mixes Blue Moon Belgian White ale, Svedka Clementine vodka, orange juice and fresh lime juice.
The beer cocktails will be served through the summer and are priced at $4.99. The signature beer cans will be available to purchase for about $5 at participating locations, while supplies last. (Prices may vary at franchise-owned restaurants.)
Souvenir glassware is part of Red Robin’s brand, so the company spent more than a year designing the reusable beer cans for the drinks. The limited-edition cans, which can only be found at Red Robin, are made of a sturdy aluminum and have the look and feel of a real beer can.
The Can-Crafted Cocktails aren’t Red Robin’s first beer drinks. The Greenwood Village, CO-based chain, which currently operates 475 units, had launched a signature beer milkshake in September. Made with soft-serve ice cream, vanilla, caramel and Samuel Adams Octoberfest draft, the beer shake was available through mid November.
