An exclusive VIP event to raise funds for Sky Ranch for Boys will be hosted by Cheers and Bacardi USA on January 19 in conjunction with the 2009 Cheers Beverage Conference. The dinner will take place at Bacardi headquarters in Miami.
Since it was established in 1960, Sky Ranch has been the “adopted charity” of the beverage alcohol industry. Sky Ranch is a 3,000-acre working ranch and licensed special education school in Sky Ranch, S.D., dedicated to helping troubled youth. Beverage industry leaders from all segments of the business serve on the Sky Ranch Foundation board of directors, coordinating the financial support that provides nearly a third of the Sky Ranch budget.
The goal of the VIP dinner is to “Shape Up!” Sky Ranch finances, especially to provide for a needed upgrading of the physical fitness and sports equipment and programming.
