What a sommelier likes in a wine and what consumers prefer to drink have historically been pretty far apart, due to differences in personal taste, as well as issues with availability or pricing. But that gap is closing, thanks to a few trends.

Craft Beer Release: New England Brewery’s Weiss Trash Culture
Chris Budzig
In a small warehouse space on the outskirts of New Haven, CT, the crew from New England Brewery produces some damn fine beer. Their newest release, Weiss Trash Culture, is a Berliner Weiss style soured wheat beer. Coming in at just 6 IBUs and 3.4% ABV, with a tart sourness to it, it is a very sessionable summer beer. Light, yet flavorful, I could see myself downing a few of these on a hot summer day.
