This bright, mezcal-based cocktail is perfect for Halloween, Day of the Dead, or any festive fall celebrations.
Naranja Paloma
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz. Lobos 1707 Mezcal Artesanal
- ½ oz. Ancho Reyes Verde liqueur
- 1 ½ oz. Grapefruit juice
- 1 ½ oz. Soda water
- 1 oz. Fresh tangerine or Mandarin orange juice
- ½ oz. Agave nectar
- ½ oz. Fresh-squeezed lime juice
- Black lava salt
Instructions
- Use a lime wedge to rim a rocks glass with black lava salt.
- Combine all ingredients, except soda, in a cocktail shaker.
- Add ice and shake until chilled.
- Add fresh ice to salted glass, then strain shaker into the glass.
- Top off with soda water and stir to combine.
- Garnish with mandarin orange slice.
