Consumers love their hard seltzers, and now they can sample some of the many brands and flavors available at a pop-up and complimentary experience inside Chicago’s Kimpton Gray Hotel. The Seltzer Shop enables guests to sip and enjoy 10 different brands with friends, family or coworkers in a nostalgic soda shop setting; all but one brand are hard seltzers.
Designed in partnership with brand experience agency Rose Gold Collective, The Seltzer Shop features more than 25 different flavors such as watermelon chili, pomegranate ginger, lemon strawberry kiss and grapefruit smash. The seltzers offered are from both up-and-coming and nationally recognized brands, including Claffeys Cocktails, Flying Embers, High Noon, Jack Daniels, The Long Drink, Press, Sesh Beverages, Two Chicks, Spiked Ice Seltzer and, of course, White Claw.
The bubbly pop-up, which launched July 16 and will be available through Aug. 8, is open Fridays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Hotel guests and the public can reserve the complimentary experience on OpenTable. Each one-and-a-half-hour reservation includes either a curated tasting flight or a flight of four tastings from one brand. The Seltzer Shop guests will also receive one can of their choice to enjoy during the experience.
