Margarita Day rolls around again on Feb. 22, and what better way to honor the best-selling cocktail than with a fresh spin on the classic. There’s no shortage of riffs on the Margarita, so we’ve rounded up some favorite flavors and new contenders, plus a no-alcohol option.
Blood Orange Margarita

2 oz. Cincoro Blanco tequila
1 ½ oz. Blood orange juice
½ oz. Fresh lime juice
¼ oz. Agave syrup
Build all ingredients into a cocktail shaker then shake vigorously. Pour into an ice filled rocks glass and garnish with lime wheel.

Pomegranate Manarita
2 oz. Teremana Blanco tequila
1 oz. Pomegranate juice
¾ oz. Fresh lime juice
½ oz. Agave nectar
Pinch of Salt
Combine ingredients and shake. Strain into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Jalapeno Margarita
2 oz. La Adelita Tequila Blanco
2 oz. Freshly squeezed orange juice
1 oz. Agave
1 oz. Fresh lime juice and lime for garnish
¼ Jalapeno muddled
Dash of cayenne pepper and salt for rim
For a salted rim, rub a juicy lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip in salt of choice. Combine your ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously. Strain and serve on the rocks, and garnish with jalapeno slices and a lime wedge.

Spicy Pineapple Margarita
2 oz. Tanteo Jalapeño Tequila
1 oz. Pineapple
½ oz. Lime
½ oz. Dry Curaçao
¼ oz. Agave
Dashes of Firewater bitters
4 Blackberries
Muddle blackberries in a shaker, then add all ingredients over ice. Shake well and strain into an ice filled rocks glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.

Marigold Margarita
2 oz. Espolón Blanco tequila
½ oz. Monin Hibiscus syrup
1 oz. Orange juice
½ oz. Lime juice
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

1 ½ oz. Tequila Cazadores Blanco
¾ oz. Orange Curacao
¾ oz. The Perfect Puree Red Jalapeno puree, thawed
¾ oz. Lime juice
1 oz. Simple syrup
Combine all ingredients with ice. Shake and serve in the rocks with a chili salt rim. Garnish with lime and a red jalapeno slice.

Margarita Amore
1 ½ oz. Patrón Reposado tequila
½ oz. Patrón Citrónge Orange liqueur
1 oz. Apple juice
½ oz. Fresh lime juice
½ oz. Valentina-passion fruit syrup*
Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake to chill. Strain into a chilled Margarita glass. Garnish with a small chili pepper.
*For Valentina-passion fruit syrup: Combine two parts passion fruit syrup to one part Valentina hot sauce and stir to combine. Store refrigerated.
