1 oz. Fresh grapefruit juice
1 oz. Grand Marnier
3 drops rose water
Champagne or sparkling wine, for topping
Combine grapefruit juice, liqueur and rose water in an ice-filled shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into a flute and top with Champagne.
The American Bar at The Savoy in London created this cocktail in 1969 to commemorate the historic moon landing. (The Moonwalk was reportedly the first thing that astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin drank when they returned from their lunar mission.)
