11 New Valentine�s Day Cocktails
A winning Valentine’s Day cocktail celebrates the romantic holiday theme, generally with pink or red hues, decadent flavors, festive garnishes and whimsical names. We’ve included a few great cocktail recipes perfect for Valentine’s Day during the past few weeks; here are a few more drinks to help heat up the holiday.
A Few Words on Oregon Wine

Unlike California and Washington State, Oregon has historically been home to few corporate, large-production wineries. But the state does boast 463 wineries and nine AVAs, according to the Oregon Wine Commission Wine Commission. And people have been quickly catching on to Oregon’s impressive pinot noirs and cool-climate white varietals.
1 � oz. House-made 3 Berry Vodka
� oz. Fresh lemon juice
� oz. Heavy whipping cream
� oz. Combier liqueur
Add all ingredients with ample ice into a shaker and shake. Double strain into a coupe. Using the same ice, pour heavy cream and Combier. Shake vigorously and double strain into the middle of the coupe. Use straw to draw the shape of a heart on the surface of the cocktail, if desired.

Grapefruit-Mint Bellini
(Serves 6)
� Cup sugar
� Cup water
1 Bunch fresh mint
2-3 cups freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
1 Bottle sparkling wine
Edible flowers, for garnish
In a small saucepan, bring sugar, water and mint to a boil. Simmer until the sugar is dissolved, 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool completely, then discard mint sprigs. Divide simple syrup and grapefruit juice between 6 glasses and stir. Top with champagne and garnish with edible flowers.

Goose Island Drafts New Promotions And New Beers
Goose Island Beer Co., a craft brewer owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, is launching its first national advertising campaign and a few new beers this year.
Pernod Ricard USA recently announced the U.S. availability of Beefeater Burrough�s Reserve. The small-batch offering is finished in rare oak barrels, which lend subtle characteristics of the oak and residual flavors, the company says. Burrough�s Reserve has a suggested retail price of $70 for a 750-ml. bottle.
