Broomfield, CO-based CraftWorks Restaurants & Breweries announced Nov. 1 that it has acquired Logan’s Roadhouse. Founded in 1991, Nashville-based Logan’s Roadhouse operates 204 corporate and franchise casual-dining steakhouse restaurants in 22 states.
The company also created CraftWorks Holdings (CWH), a multibrand restaurant holding company platform that will be led by Hazem Ouf (pictured atop), Logan’s current CEO. Prior to joining Logan’s Roadhouse as CEO in January 2017, Ouf spent eight years as CEO of American Blue Ribbon Holdings, which includes the O’Charley’s, 99 Restaurant and Pub, Village Inn, Bakers Square and Legendary Baking brands.
With the Logan’s Roadhouse deal, CraftWorks Holdings now has more than 390 restaurants and breweries in 40 states and the District of Columbia, including Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom, Rock Bottom Restaurants & Breweries, Big River Grille & Brewing Works and Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurants. Private investment management firm Centerbridge Partners controls CraftWorks Holdings through investment funds affiliated with it.
