The holiday season is all about the sparkle, especially when it comes to wine, and especially on New Year’s Eve. Ingredients such as apple brandy, pear liqueur and wintery spices add seasonal flair for drinks you can enjoy long after the ball has dropped and the holiday decorations are put away.

Amanda’s Holiday Spritz
Ingredients
- Makes 25 5-oz. cocktails
- 1 bottle Laird’s 7 ½ Year apple brandy
- 1 bottle St. George spiced pear liqueur
- 12 oz. Cinnamon-anise Demerara syrup
- 12 oz. Fresh lemon juice
- 1 bottle Champagne or dry sparkling wine
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a punch bowl.
- Garnish with dehydrated lemon slices, whole star anise and cinnamon sticks.
Notes
6 oz. Demerara sugar
6 oz. Boiling hot water
2 Cinnamon sticks
4 Star anise Combine sugar and water and mix until sugar dissolves.
Add cinnamon and anise and let marinate for 48 hours.

Glass Slipper
Ingredients
- 3 Fresh blackberries
- 4 oz. Sparkling wine
- ¼ oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
- ¾ oz. Lavender honey syrup
- ¾ oz. Lemon juice
Instructions
- Muddle blackberries in a shaker tin.
- Add everything except sparkling wine and shake.
- Double strain into a flute glass.
- Top with sparkling wine/Champagne.
- Garnish with grapefruit shimmer and an edible orchid.

Ice, Spice, & Everything Nice
Ingredients
- 1 x Holiday spiced ice*
- 1 parts Lillet Rouge
- 4 parts Mumm Sparkling Brut Prestige sparking wine
Instructions
- Add the Holiday Spice Ice to a wine glass.
- Follow with Lillet Rouge and then sparking wine.

28 oz. Brewed holiday spice tea
8 Star anise
8 Clementine half wheels
Edible gold flakes Fill a 2×2” 8-cube silicon ice cube tray with 3-½ oz. of tea each. Top with half clementine wheel, star anise and edible gold flakes. Freeze. The mixologists at Mumm created this recipe.
Pomme Poire Spritz
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz. Mathilde Poire liqueur
- ½ oz. Laird’s apple brandy
- ½ oz. St. Germain
- 3 oz. Pierre Sparr Crement D’Alscace sparkling wine
- Splash of club soda
Instructions
- Build drink directly into glass.
- Topping with sparkling wine and soda.
- Garnish with a dehydrated apple chip.

California Royale
Ingredients
- 1 oz. Argonaut Fat Thumb brandy
- ½ oz. Fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz. Cranberry juice cocktail
- 2 ½ oz. Dry sparkling wine
- 1 dash Vanilla extract
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin except the sparkling wine.
- Shake with ice and strain into a coupe glass.
- Top with sparkling wine.
- Garnish with a thyme sprig and a fresh cranberry.

Aurora 709
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz. Crystal Head Aurora vodka
- ¾ oz. Blueberry syrup
- ¾ oz. Fresh lemon juice
- Blueberries
- Top with sparkling wine
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker add vodka, lemon juice, blueberry syrup and 4-5 blueberries.
- Muddle and shake over ice for 10-15 seconds.
- Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Top with sparkling wine and garnish with a lemon zest ribbon.

Raspberry Wheat 75
Ingredients
- ½ oz. Old Elk wheat whiskey
- ¼ oz. Raspberry simple syrup
- ¼ oz. Lemon
- Sparkling rosé
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except wine and shake.
- Strain into flute glass.
- Top with sparkling rosé.
- Garnish with fresh raspberry.
