New to the U.S. market is Sprizzeri, an Italian wine spritzer.
Making its stateside debut this summer, Sprizzeri is crafted using grapes harvested from vineyards in Northern Italy and infused with local aromatic herbs, flower blossoms and fruit juice. Available in three flavors: Classico Orange with Bitters, Lime and Elderflower and Secco Rosé, Sprizzeri’s single-serving cans are ideal for picnics, the beach, BBQs and more.
Sprizzeri is sold nationwide in four-packs of 250-ml. cans with a SRP of $14.99 per pack.
Originating in Northern Italy in 1934, the brand’s popularity led to its growth and expansion across Italy and Europe, the company says. “Sprizzerí’s arrival in the U.S. is well-timed with the meteoric rise of canned wine sales up more than 50 percent last year.”
Sprizzeri is owned by Rotkappchen-Mumm, among the largest sparkling wine companies in the world, and imported by August Wine Group, a Seattle-based wine importer specializing in the import, distribution, branding, education and sales of wines from the Mediterranean and South America.
