Following the summer launch of Taffer’s Mixologist premium craft drink mixes, hospitality, nightclub and bar expert Jon Taffer has unveiled line of hard seltzers. Taffer’s Mixologist Sparkling Craft Cocktails will be available in seven flavor profiles inspired by modern mixology, including Cucumber Jalapeño, Pineapple Coconut, Strawberry Basil, Cherry Lime, California Lime, Grapefruit Moon and Taffer’s Original (Elderflower).
Hard seltzers saw a 93% spike in sales year-over-year, according to a 2019 Nielsen survey, driven by the consumer convenience and health appeal of the beverages attracted them to the drink. Taffer, star of the long-running Paramount network reality series Bar Rescue, says that the Taffer’s Mixologist team had planned to make a line of hard seltzers from the start, with the goal of creating premium and flavorful beverage experience.
Each Taffer’s Mixologist Sparkling Craft Cocktails has just 100 calories per 12-oz. can, zero grams of added sugar, three grams of carbs and 5% alcohol by volume. All sparkling craft cocktails include carbonated water, OTS orange wine, erythritol, natural flavor, citric acid and stevia. The suggested retail price is $7 for a single flavor four-pack.
