Global Spirits Names New Southeast Regional Manager

02/13/2017

by: Kyle Swartz

Global Spirits USA has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Doug Nangle to Southeast Regional Manager.

He will be responsible for Georgia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Louisiana and Arkansas.

The move comes in response to the “company’s significant growth over the past year,” Global Spirits said in a press release.

Nangle fills a post formerly held by Jim Amstutz, who was recently promoted to national sales manager. Nangle brings more than 20 years of experience in sales/management, the company says, including distribution management, brand management, business management and development strategic planning, human resources administration, quality control, and financial management.

“Doug has been working with us as an independent contractor,” explains Global Spirits CEO Maxim Dubossarsky. “He’s done an outstanding job and understands both our brands and our culture. We view this as a seamless transition.”

Nangle has worked with Premium Beverage Company, Nangle Distributing and Importing Company, East Coast Beverage Marketing Company, Southeast Wine Partners and White Rock Distilling among others during the course of his career.

Nangle started his career in Massachusetts as a driver for Merrimack Valley Distributing Company and worked his way up the ranks. “I’ve learned every facet of the beverage industry during the course of my career, and I believe Global Spirits presents a tremendous opportunity to apply my expertise,” he says.

Global Spirits was established in 2008 and has offices in New York, Moscow and Kiev, employing over 5,000 people. The company’s annual volume exceeds 10 million cases. It markets and distributes brands including: Khortytsa Vodka, LEAF Organic Vodka and Odessa V.S.O.P. Brandy.
