Canadian whisky giant Crown Royal on April 30 announced the release of Crown Royal Marquis. The latest innovation in the Diageo brand’s portfolio is finished in Caribbean rum casks.
The rich, inviting notes of honey, brown sugar and vanilla plus hints of date and fig that give way to a smooth finish give the whisky a complex and versatile flavor, according to the company. Crown Royal Marquis can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or paired with pineapple juice in one of the brand’s signature cocktails, such as the Crown Royal Marquis Moment (combined with pineapple juice, soda and lime), the Marquis Daquiri (with pineapple juice, lime juice and simple syrup) and the Marquis Escape (shown atop, with citrus Italian liqueur, pineapple juice, lime juice and demerara syrup).
The Crown Royal Marquis bottle maintains the brand’s iconic shape in deep, purple glass paired with signature Crown Royal purple lettering for a sleek, elevated finish. Crown Royal Marquis will be available beginning May 2025 in Georgia, Maryland Washington D.C. and select military bases, where spirits-based beverages are sold, at a suggested retail price of $39.99. This follows the recent release of Crown Royal Blackberry.
