Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz. Recuerdo Mezcal con gusano
  • 1 oz. Ginger and orange peel infusion
  • ½ oz. Orange juice
  • ½ oz. Simple syrup
  • Tonic water

Instructions

  • Shake all ingredients except for the tonic water.
  • Serve in a high ball glass with ice, fill with the tonic.
  • Garnish with strips of orange peel.

Notes

For Ginger and orange peel infusion: Add 1 tbsp. freshly grated ginger and zest from one medium orange to 1 cup of boiling water. Let infuse for 15-20 minutes before straining.
