This riff on a ’Rita gets its vegetal notes from an herbal liqueur and a sweet pea and pineapple syrup.
Sweet Pea Margarita
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Gran Coramino cristalino tequila
- ¼ oz. Dolin Genepy herbal liqueur
- ¾ oz. Sweet pea and pineapple syrup*
- 1 oz. Lime juice
- 2 dashes 80/20 Saline solution
Instructions
- Chill a rocks glass in the freezer.
- Combine all ingredients in a shaker.
- Add ice and shake for 6-8 seconds.
- Double strain over 1 large ice cube.
- Garnish with skewered frozen peas.
Notes
1 cup Frozen peas
½ cup Pineapple juice
½ cup Water
1 cup Sugar Combine ingredients and blend together for 1 minute. Strain and store in a tight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. (The longer it stays in the refrigerator, the stronger the flavor.) The mixologists at Gran Coramino created this recipe
