Old Line Spirits Double Oak Series Sherry Cask

Old Line Spirits Double Oak Series Sherry Cask

The demand for this Old Line Spirits annual release has grown substantially since it won best in category last year in Fred Minnick’s Ascot Awards, the company says.

Made with a mashbill of 100% malted barley, this single malt ages for five years in new American white oak and then an additional year in sherry casks. It is bottled at 100 proof.

Co-founder Arch Watkins describes it as having “classic notes of caramel, brown sugar and tobacco — made more complex with notes of stone fruit, nuts and raisins.

”This year’s release of American Single Malt Double Oak Series Sherry Cask Finish will be available in Maryland, D.C., Delaware, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Colorado at a suggested retail price of $64.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
