Beer giant Anheuser-Busch has unveiled its first-ever spirit extension, Natural Light Vodka. The new 30%-ABV spirit comes in Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade and Black Cherry Lemonade available in 750-ml. and 50-ml. bottles; the suggested retail price for a 750 ml. ranges from about $10 to $14.
“Natural Light is constantly looking to innovate to meet the evolving flavor preferences of our fans. Nothing is off the table,” said Daniel Blake, group vice president for Budweiser & Value at Anheuser-Busch. “Flavored vodka is one of the fastest growing segments in spirits, and we knew Natty was the brand to show up to the party with a great tasting offering to set us apart.”
Anheuser-Busch owns macro beer brands including Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra and Stella Artois, as well as a number of regional brands. Natural Light, introduced in 1977, was Anheuser-Busch’s first reduced-calorie light beer. The brand also includes Naturdays Frozen Icicles, Natural Light Sour Seltzers and Naturdays Pineapple Lemonade.
