The launch was delayed more than a year due to the pandemic, but Yard House finally unveiled its New York City location on Sept. 20. The opening marks Yard House’s largest location, spanning over 21,000 sq. ft., three floors of seating and two lively bars.
The new location in the heart of Times Square boasts 130 unique beer taps, with a selection of local and regional favorites including Bronx Rise & Grind by The Bronx Brewery, Captain Lawrence Hop Commander by Captain Lawrence Brewing in Elmsford, Five Boroughs Gridlock Hazy IPA by Five Boroughs Brewing, and Coney Island Mermaid Pilsner by Coney Island Brewing. A glass-enclosed keg room houses 3,000 gallons of beer at an ideal temperature of 34 to 36 degrees and delivers it to the restaurant’s two bars through more than 10 miles of individual beer lines stretching overhead.
The more than 80 menu items include the Poke Nachos, Nashville Hot Chicken, Street Tacos and Proprietary USDA Prime Blend burgers; gluten-sensitive, vegan and vegetarian options are also available. And as with every Yard House, hand-picked and unique music playlists help set the tone for every interaction.
The Times Square Yard House location was originally scheduled to open in fall 2020. Founded in 1996, the craft beer-centric brand was acquired by Darden in 2012 and currently operates 83 restaurants in 28 states.
