Rael Petit and the Painkiller

05/05/2021

by: Melissa Dowling

Rael Petit

Rael Petit is the beverage director of Kokomo in Williamsburg, NY.

My go-to drink lately is a Painkiller variation that I make at Kokomo, with equal parts coconut rum and Plantation O.F.T.D rum. I’m currently working between Nassau, Bahamas, and New York, and I love having a little taste of the Caribbean even when I’m in the city.

Kokomo Painkiller

Painkiller
1 oz. Coconut rum
1 oz. Plantation O.F.T.D rum
½ oz. Orange juice
2 ½ oz. Pineapple juice
1 oz. Coconut milk

Pour ingredients into a shaker, no ice. Dry shake and pour into a Tiki mug. Add crushed ice and dust some cinnamon on top of the drink.
