Jim Beam Releases Ready-To-Drink Highball Cocktails

05/05/2021

by: Melissa Dowling

Jim Beam Ginger Highball

The latest entries in the booming Ready-to-Drink category are the Jim Beam Classic Highball and Jim Beam Ginger Highball.

Both have a bourbon base. Jim Beam Classic Highball combines Jim Beam Bourbon, bubbly seltzer and a hint of citrus. Jim Beam Ginger Highball blends Jim Beam Bourbon and ginger ale.

Both flavors were inspired by the Highball cocktail, made by mixing chilled Jim Beam Bourbon with ice, highly carbonated soda water or ginger ale.

“We know that so many drinkers get tired of beer and crave something refreshing, lighter and more balanced,” says Malini Patel, managing director for the James B. Beam Distilling Co. at Beam Suntory. “Our new ready-to-drink Highballs are the perfect way to enjoy Jim Beam in a new, refreshing way — whether you’re a bourbon fan or you’re trying bourbon for the first time.”

These two Jim Beam RTDs are each 5% ABV. They are available now nationwide for a suggested retail price of $2.50 per 355-ml. slender can, or $9.99 per 4-pack.

The new RTDs come as the category grew 39.1% in 2020, according to DISCUS.
