Hallmark Channel Hard Seltzer Takes Our Name

03/29/2021

by: Melissa Dowling

Hallmark Channel Cheers Rosé Seltzer

Hallmark Channel Wines and its wine partner, Wines That Rock, are introducing a rosé wine seltzer this spring. The name? Cheers Rosé Seltzer.

The 8.4% ABV wine-based beverage is a custom blend of refreshing citrus and light strawberry notes, the company says. Seltzer is immediately added before canning to create “a superior sparkling profile, with champagne-style bubbles.” It’s packaged in pink (naturally) 250-ml. cans, and will be available at local retailers and on hallmarkchannelwines.com starting in May.

Hallmark Channel Wines, which launched during the network’s Christmas in July programming event last year, has been working on the rosé wine seltzer formula for years, according to its winemaker Andrew Nelson. If you like rosé wine, sparkling wine or hard seltzer, then you love Cheers, he promises.

Well, we do love all of the above—including the name Cheers, which we’ve been using for some 31 years. Cheers to that!
