Information about the first batches of Elijah Craig and Larceny Barrel Proof bourbons in 2021 is now available from Heaven Hill.

The distillery kicks off the 2021 Elijah Craig Barrel Proof program with batch A121 at 123.6 proof. A 12-year-old bourbon, non-chill-filtered and uncut, Elijah Craig Barrel Proof preserves all natural esters and taste components from the barrel to the bottle, the company says.

Beginning with this first bottling in 2021, “Barrel Proof” will now print on the label, which will also more clearly displays the proof, ABV and batch number. Our magazine’s podcast named the previous bottling of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof as one of the best deals in whiskey in 2020.

The first release of Larceny Barrel Proof in 2021 is also batch A121, at 114.8 proof. This is an uncut, non-chill-filtered wheated bourbon that consists of barrels aged six to eight years.

The suggested retail prices of these whiskeys is $59.99 for Elijah Craig Barrel Proof, and $49.99 Larceny Barrel Proof, both per 750-ml. bottle.

Larceny Barrel Proof launched in January 2020 as the brand’s first line extension. The Elijah Craig Barrel Proof series first came to market in 2013.
