Luxury resort and casino The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas reintroduced the newly designed Vesper Bar on Dec. 20. Named after the Vesper cocktail in the James Bond novel Casino Royale, Vesper Bar has long been staple of The Cosmopolitan’s mixology program, and has served more than 2 million patrons.
The bar, located off the main lobby on the first level of The Cosmopolitan’s Chelsea Tower, includes plush lounge seating with rich upholstery in velvet jewel tones, mirrored tiles, bold patterned carpet and contemporary fixtures. The main bar boasts red Rosso Levanto marble, a multitiered custom brass bottle display and burgundy leather stools.
The refreshed cocktail menu is separated into Classics—Timeless libations—and Reimagined Interpretations—modern makeovers with a wink. Highlights include the classic Vesper (1953) cocktail, paired opposite the reimagined The Spy Who Loved Me Martini. Each pairing is also available in a smaller size so guests can taste and interpret both drinks for $22.
Vesper Bar’s cocktails are priced at $16; the most popular is the Mixologist Choice. The menu also includes two mocktails, priced at $8.
