Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Unfiltered is a less-sweet and full-bodied new cider, with a hazy hue.
To craft Unfiltered, Angry Orchard started with a blend of juice from culinary and traditional bittersweet apples. Low in acid and high in tannin, this blend of apples offers a cider flavor reminiscent of the robust apple aroma that visitors may experience at the Angry Orchard in Hudson Valley, New York, late in the season, the company says.
Angry Orchard skipped the filtration process to keep the cider’s hazy, natural appearance, hearty aroma and fuller apple taste at 6% ABV.
Angry Orchard Unfiltered is available now nationwide, in six-pack bottles for a suggested retail price of $9.99 per pack — and on draft.
I’m a big fan of hard cider. In fact, it was a big part of the appeal for me of moving to the Hudson Valley area.
