Italian wine brand Cavit announced that it’s transitioning its still white wines to screwcap closure. The range of whites includes riesling, oak zero chardonnay, moscato and pinot grigio.
Why the change? The company says that the decision to move to a screwcap closure was based on conclusive research that confirmed consumers’ preference for Cavit wines with a more convenient screwcap. Cavit’s packaging, which emphasizes the brand’s commitment to quality, modernity and authenticity, will remain otherwise unchanged.
Importer Palm Bay International is now rolling out the Cavit whites with the screwcap closure nationwide. The suggested retail price, which hasn’t changed, is $9.99 per 750-ml. bottle and $14.99 for a 1.5 liter bottle.
