Beso Del Sol, makers of the sangria brand by the same name, have announced two new sparkling wines: Beso Del Sol Sparkling White and Beso Del Sol Sparkling Rosé.
Available for order now, partner and COO Larry Margolis anticipates shelf-presence in all 50 states in time for Mother’s Day. While similar to the sangrias, the sparklers have higher alcohol content and less fruit, the company says.
Beso Del Sol Sparkling White is 100% airén (Spain) with all-natural peach and mango flavors, the company says. Its ABV is 10.5%, and the suggested retail price is $12.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Beso Del Sol Sparkling White is gluten-free, and has 70 calories and 1.5 grams of sugar per 100-ml. serving
Beso Del Sol Sparkling Rosé is 100% tempranillo (Spain) with all-natural citrus, peach and mango flavors, the company says. Its ABV is 10.5%, and the suggested retail price is $12.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Beso Del Sol Sparkling Rosé is gluten-free, and has 70 calories and 1.5 grams of sugar per 100-ml. serving
“We saw the market opportunity for Beso Del Sol Sangria in late 2013, launched in 2014, and in 2017 sold more than 200,000 cases. Sparkling is a logical next step: the category was +8% last year and is projected to grow 14% by 2020,” says Bradd Levitan, partner and CEO of Beso Del Sol. “In addition, rosé is the fastest growing wine category in the U.S., +124% last year.”
Beso Del Sol won its fourth Rising Star Growth Brand award from Beverage Dynamics in 2018. Please visit Beso Del Sol at WSWA in the Consul Suite on the Promenade Level.
