Ruca Malen Aimé Wines Launch In U.S.

05/23/2017

by: The Staff

Ruca Malen has announced the U.S. launch of the wine collection Aimé. First introduced in Argentina in 2016, Aimé Ruca Malen features Malbec, a spicy Red Blend and a Sweet Moscato.

“Aimé Ruca Malen was inspired by younger drinkers who were coming to the winery looking for new wine styles to discover – consumers who are familiar with the quality reputation of Argentine Malbec and who enjoy wines that are approachable, versatile and full-flavored,” say Federico Ruiz, U.S. Sales Manager of Ruca Malen, in a press release.

Aimé Ruca Malen Malbec features aromas of red fruit, violets, chocolate and vanilla notes, making it an ideal for pastas in red sauce, meats, and tamales. The spicy Aimé Ruca Malen Red Blend, made from Malbec, Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, has a red-violet color and dark red fruit character. It matches well with red meats, pasta, and cheese.

The citrusy Aimé Ruca Malen Sweet Moscato has herbal and citrus aromas, ideal for pairing with fish, sushi and Mediterranean salads.

The Aimé Ruca Malen wines each retail for $8.99 per 750-ml. bottle and are imported by Opici Wines.
