The Confidante hotel in Miami Beach has reopened its backyard bungalow, a historic 1930s-built house, as the newly imagined cocktail lounge, Nina’s House.
Designed by Miami’s Saladino Design Studio, the space reflects vintage surf, skate, and rock culture, the company says, through its distressed wall treatments, custom surfboards, local artwork, antique leather furniture, eclectic taxidermy and even a gold Elvis bust.
Inspired by Argentine globetrotter and local muse Nina Cambiaso Constanza, the gypsy-chic vibe reflects her preferred hangout upon return from her global travels, the company says.
“We wanted to create a nomadic den of fashion, art and music in a cozy bungalow. A place where the surfer has a drink with the musician, and his artist girlfriend. A spot for the Gypsetter in from Ibiza, visiting friends on their way to London,” says Sean Saladino, Principal of Saladino Design Studio. “It’s an eclectic mix of style in a bohemian setting.”
Guests can enjoy a menu of light bites, fresh-juice cocktails, and the music of the 70s, 80s and 90s.

The culinary menu at Nina’s has been created by Miami chef Richard Hales of the hotel’s new Bird & Bone classic American restaurant.
The menu features eats like Hand Torn Masa Chips; Florida Gator Pibil with achiote, pickled onion, cotija cheese; and Cauliflower Tinga with chipotle tomato, Oaxaca cheese, crema.
Nightly programming is led by Nina herself. Each Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening guests can sip on craft cocktails like the Globetrotter cantaloupe, ginger, basil, gin, St. Germaine; Spicy Nina pineapple, honeycrisp apple, cilantro jalapeno, silver rum; and Seahorse mango, strawberry, rosemary, lemongrass, silver tequila, luxardo maraschino.
Nina’s will invite local musicians, DJs and acoustic performers to the house on programmed nights.
Open to hotel guests and non-guests, Nina’s House is located in the backyard of The Confidante hotel (4041 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33140) and is open every Thursday through Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight. Guests can enjoy 2-for-1 happy hours Thursday through Saturday from 7-8 p.m. It is available for private events Sunday – Wednesday.
