Bache-Gabrielsen Introduces Three New Cognacs Into The U.S.

10/27/2016

by: Kyle Swartz

Bache-Gabrielsen, a family-owned and operated cognac house that officially arrived in the U.S. a few months back, has unveiled three new additions to its growing portfolio.

Joining the cognac house’s portfolio is: Tre Kors, named in honor of the Bache-Gabrielsen family legacy, XO Decanter, which is aged for an average of 25 years in Limousin oak casks, and the most premium of their current offerings, Sérénité.

In addition to the three new products, American Oak, a cognac aged in brand new American oak barrels and released earlier this year, remains exclusive to the states.

“We’ve carefully identified these forthcoming offerings for the U.S. market; each one plays an important role in showcasing who we are as a company, as well as brings unique flavor profiles to the category,” says company president, Hervé Bache-Gabrielsen, in a press release. “Tre Kors has a particularly fond place in our hearts, as it pays tribute to how my great-grandfather originally found success by selling cognac to pharmacies in Norway during their prohibition. The three crosses on the label represent the former medicinal symbol. He was known for his creative instincts and today, we continue to strive for his visionary intellect.”

Tre Kors will retail for $29.99 per 750-ml. bottle, XO Decanter for $99.99 and Sérénité for $169.99.

All cognacs will be available nationally and are imported and distributed by The Winebow Group.
