Wild Tiger Special Reserve Rum — which calls itself the first premium rum brand from India — has entered the U.S. market.
This rum is a blend of both distillates from sugar cane: molasses and cane juice. It’s notes are aromatic and has a rich aftertaste, the company reports. Wild Tiger Rum is conceptualized and owned by Indian drinks entrepreneur Gautom Menon
This spirit is currently available in states of NJ, NY, TX, OH and CT at a retail price $22-$27 per 750-ml. bottle.
Wild Tiger is Imported into USA By Eastern Liquors Inc, based in Westbury, New York.
The Brand donates 10% profits towards tiger conservation in South India, where they have set up their own nonprofit initiative called WTF (Wild Tiger Foundation), working with other established wildlife establishments and tiger experts to save the tiger and its habitat in South India.
Moreover, the brand is planning a promotional campaign “Roar this Diwali,” which will feature the festive vibe surrounding the colourful Indian festival.
