NY International Spirits Competition Announces Partnership with Beverage Information Group

07/27/2016

by: Kyle Swartz

The New York International Spirits Competition (NYISC) and the Beverage Information Group (BIG) have announced a trade media partnership for the upcoming 2016 NYISC, to be held October 23-24th in the heart of New York City.

BIG includes which includes Beverage Dynamics, Cheers and StateWays. BIG will be an exclusive media partner of the NYISC and will provide coverage of its competition and its winners. BIG’s editors will be on-site to report on the competition and will feature the winners in its publications.

NYISC will also offer winning brands special advertising rates in BIG media publications to showcase their wins in the competition.

As the NYISC enters its 7th year, it is recognized in the trade as among the most respected spirits competitions in the world. All of its judges are real trade buyers, who judge the spirit by its category and actual retail price. The competition is open to all domestic and international commercial producers from around the world.

“As a long-time source of information for the industry, we are excited to partner with the NYISC,” says Amy Collins, Vice President of BIG. “We were initially drawn to the NYISC because it is a trade-only judging competition, which complements our work providing education and information for on-premise operators and off-premise retailers.”

A recap of the spirits competition will appear in the January/February issues of Beverage Dynamics and Cheers, in both publications’ email newsletters, and on CheersOnline.com and BeverageDynamics.com.
