Following the July 6 launch of the Pokémon Go app, many restaurants and bars have seen their locations turned into PokéStops and PokéGyms. Several have taken full advantage by adding Poké-themed drinks to their menus. One is Cocina 214 in Winter Park, FL, which brought the spirit of the three Pokémon Go teams to its drink menu in the form of colorful tequila shooters.
Lambrine Macejewski, one of Cocina 214’s owners, had noticed increased foot traffic around the restaurant a few days ago. She found out that there’s a PokéStop on the Tex-Mex restaurant’s patio fountain. So bartenders created special shots for virtual reality game players. Priced at $5 each, the shots hit the menu July 13. Here’s what’s in them:
The Valor Shot (Red): Sauza tequila, sour mix, splash of cranberry, with a sugar rim and garnished with a cherry.
The Mystic Shot (Blue): Sauza tequila, blue curacao, sour mix, splash of sprite, with a sugar rim and garnished with a lime wedge.
The Instinct Shot (Yellow): Sauza tequila, sour mix, splash of orange juice and pineapple juice, with a sugar rim and garnished with an orange slice.
