Smoke & Spice — #MyCocktail

10/15/2015

by: The Staff

1 oz. Rittenhouse rye
1 oz. Monte Alban reposado
¾ oz. Fresh squeezed lime
½ oz. Lazzaroni amaretto
½ oz. Spiced simple syrup (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, lemon peel)
2 dash Barkeep apple bitters
2 dash San Francisco Alpine herb bitters
Pinch of cheyenne pepper
Cedar plank
Blow torch

Combine all ingredients in shaker and shake for 20 seconds. Strain into carafe. Burn cedar plank (in a circle). Cover the flame with an upside down carafe so that glass fills with smoke. Turn the glass over, releasing the smoke and proceed to pour the cocktail into glass.
