A new digital product bills itself as the first global social network solely for beverage industry professionals.
1833 Maison Routin, a French manufacturing exporter of beverage syrups, has launched Club 83, an online platform for bartenders and baristas to mingle and exchange expertise.
Club 83 is available in English and French. Users can follow one another, and be followed, via social media so that they discuss trends, swap recipes and ideas, read tips and tutorials, and network with colleagues around the world, the company says.
Signing up for Club 83 also gives members access to many events, including Bartender of the Month. Users can create a personal page, a group (for example, “Bartenders of Five-star Hotels”) or an event.
“Our goal with Club 83 is to create a global community, fueled by the passionate minds that have taken the creativity of the beverage industry to new heights,” says LeCoeur.
