Shake The Vine, a wine mixology contest, will take place for the first time at Tales Of The Cocktail, in New Orleans on Wednesday, July 15.

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and BACK BAR USA are inviting all mixologists, bartenders, or anyone else so cocktail inclined to submit up to four original wine cocktail recipes, each using one of the four eligible Ste. Michelle wines/liqueurs.

Competitors have until June 30th to submit recipes.

Once all entries have been sampled and the judges’ hangovers have been cured, eight finalists will be chosen and given $1,000 to cover travel and accommodations for a trip to New Orleans to compete in the grand finale at Tales of the Cocktail.

Chosen finalists will create their chosen cocktails for a panel of celebrity judges for a chance to win the grand prize of $5,000.
