The Hard Rock Cafe is showcasing international flavors and ingredients as part of its new World Burger Tour menu, featuring burger “acts” from five continents.
The Orlando, FL-based casual dining chain’s culinary team evaluated more than 150 local burgers; fan favorites were selected to star on a limited-time World Burger Tour menu. The specialty burgers, which are available through June 30, include:
Java Lava Burger, a Seattle-inspired patty grilled and dressed in a house-made espresso rub and topped with lava sauce, crunchy java onions, bacon, melted Tillamook Cheddar cheese and garnished with a fried jalapeño;
Haggis Burger, topped with Scotland’s famous (infamous?) savory haggis, melted Monterey Jack cheese, golden turnip frazzles and a whisky maple glaze;
Marimba Burger, a Guatemala-inspired patty topped with a chipotle and jalapeño spiced layer of beans, fresh salsa, Monterey Jack cheese, Cheddar cheese and crispy tortilla straws;
Banh Mi Burger, topped with house-made Vietnamese glaze, pickled vegetables and cucumbers accompanied by a garnish of cilantro and green onions;
Schnitzel Burger, inspired by the German classic with two stacks of tender pork schnitzel lightly breaded and made crispy to order, topped with crunchy sauerkraut, spicy brown mustard and savory bacon;
Tandoori Spiced Chicken Burger, a dark meat chicken patty seasoned with aromatic spices and fresh herbs, topped with mint mayonnaise and served with a side of cucumber.
What to drink with these Local Legendary Burgers? Hard Rock Café’s new cocktail lineup offers several options with an international flavor. These include:
Mai Tai One On, a South Pacific-inspired cocktail that features Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, Cointreau, Monin Orgeat syrup, a splash of lime and orange juice;
Pomegranate Mule, a mix of Absolut vodka, Monin Pomegranate syrup and ginger beer;
Mezcarita, a smoky Margarita combining Del Maguey mezcal, Cointreau, Malibu Coconut rum and fresh strawberries;
Pineapple Ginger Caipirinha, a Brazilian blend of Água Luca cachaça and pineapple Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur;
And the Maple Old Fashioned, featuring Maker’s Mark bourbon, cherries, maple syrup and orange juice garnished with a crisp bacon stir stick.
