Pioneer Works 2nd Annual Village Fête

The event was hosted by Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Dustin Yellin, Lazaro Hernandez & Jack McCollough, Lauren & Andres Santo Domingo, Paola Antonelli, Swizz Beatz, Mike D, Janna Levin, and Shirin Neshat. The stylish affair took place on Sunday, May 3rd from 5-9PM followed by an After Party in Redhook, Brooklyn.

The well-heeled crowd enjoyed a cocktail reception, silent auction, and dinner catered by The Cleaver company during the live auction conducted by Alexander Gilkes, co-founder of Paddle8. In honor of Pioneer Works, artfully crafted concoctions, as well as a DIY Bombay Sapphire EAST Gin & Tonic bar were evening standouts, where guests customized their own G&T using a variety of exotic botanicals including Lemongrass, Peppercorn, Asian Pears, Cinnamon sticks, almonds, allspice and lime wheels — each one highlighting the unique flavor profile of the gin.  Additional highlights included English supermodel, Poppy Delevingne, who celebrated her 29th birthday at Pioneer Works’ 2nd Annual Village Fete last night (the actual day of her birthday). The blue-eyed beauty held court at her own private table with close friends – Sienna Miller, Alexa Chung, Harley Viera-Newton, Lauren Santo Domingo and Theodora Richards — who mingled, danced and toasted her big day with signature Bombay Sapphire “Bramble” cocktails – created exclusively for Poppy and her British, gin-loving set.
