1 ½ oz. Gin, rum, whiskey, tequila or vodka
¾ oz. Fresh lemon juice
½ oz. Local honey syrup
2-in. Slice cucumber
8-10 Basil leaves
Small handful arugula leaves
Muddle cucumber (peel on for more flavor) firmly. Add remaining ingredients and shake to firmly smash the leaves (muddling the leaves extracts bitter compounds, shaking will extract plenty of flavor). Double strain through a mesh strainer onto ice and top with a splash of soda.
