2 oz. Ford’s Dry Gin
¾ oz. Fresh lemon juice
¾ oz. Tea-Curaçao*
11 Blueberries
Splash of soda water
In a cocktail shaker, muddle 8 blueberries with the Curaçao. Add remaining ingredients and fill shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and double strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Add soda water and garnish with 3 blueberries on a pick.
*For Tea-Curaçao:
Combine a floral tea (such as jasmine) with a bit of coriander and infuse it in some Pierre-Ferrand dry Curaçao. Steep tea in the Curaçao for a couple hours and then strain out the tea. If needed, add simple syrup to your curaçao so that it balances in equal parts with fresh lemon juice.
Inspired by the character of Peggy Olsen on Mad Men and a tribute to the dreaded apartment search in Manhattan, this drink was created by the mixologists at the Marlton hotel in New York.
