1 ½ oz. House 3 Berry Vodka*
½ oz. Cherry Herring
¼ oz. Fresh lemon juice
¼ oz. Heavy whipping cream
¼ oz. Combier liqueur
Add all ingredients with ample ice into a shaker and shake. Double strain into a coupe. Using the same ice, pour heavy cream and Combier. Shake vigorously and double strain into the middle of the coupe. Use straw to draw the shape of a heart on the surface of the cocktail, if desired.
*For 3 Berry Vodka
1 pint Blackberries (cleaned and halved)
1 pint Raspberries (cleaned and halved)
1 pint Strawberries (cleaned and halved)
½ cup Clover honey
1 tbsp. Vanilla extract
1 tsp. Crushed ginger
½ cup Lemon juice
2 liters of favorite unflavored vodka
Place blackberries, raspberries and strawberries with clove honey, vanilla extract, and crushed ginger into a sauce pot. Add lemon juice and bring to a low simmer for about 20 minutes (or until raspberries and blackberries have fallen apart and strawberries are very soft). Place this mixture in a strong blender, and blend until all ingredients are smooth. Strain mixture through a chinois (or cheesecloth). Add mixture to favorite unflavored vodka. Whisk mixture to ensure proper displacement of settled berries.
