Happy 80th Anniversary of Repeal Day!
Raise your glass for Repeal Day 2013! This year marks the 80th anniversary of the date that the 21st Amendment repealed Prohibition, bringing an end to the 13-year period prohibiting alcohol in America.
1 oz. Shellback Spiced rum
1 oz. Red vermouth
¼ oz. Campari
1 ½ oz. Extra dry champagne
Combine rum, red vermouth and Campari in mixing glass with ice. Shake or stir according to preference. Strain into chilled cocktail glass. Top with extra dry Champagne. Garnish with maraschino cherry.

Bombay East Collins
1 ¾ oz. Sapphire East gin
¾ oz. St. Germain elderflower liqueur
¾ oz. Lemon juice
¼ oz. Simple syrup
Combine ingredients in Collins glass with ice. Top off with club soda, garnish with lemongrass if possible; otherwise use a thin lemon slice.

Pernod Ricard’s Campo Viejo has released a 2012 Garnacha, the winery’s first 100% Garnacha wine. The Garnacha, which is harvested from old vines, is a modern interpretation of a historic grape, deeply rooted in Spanish winemaking, according to the company. The wine is available nationally for a suggested retail price of $12.

Knob Creek Bourbon has introduced the brand’s first ever flavor-innovation, Knob Creek Smoked Maple Bourbon. The new expression combines the big, full flavor of Knob Creek Bourbon with hints of maple and a touch of smoke, the company says.
