Gran Reserva Serie Riberas, or “Riverbank Series,” is a family of specific-origin, single-vineyard wines from Concha y Toro, in which each variety is grown in close proximity to one of Chile’s major rivers. Gran Reserva Serie Riberas chardonnay is the sixth addition to the series, featuring Rapel River fruit from the Ucúquer Vineyard in Colchagua. Imported from Chile by Excelsior Wines, the Gran Reserva Serie Riberas, first introduced in 2012, also includes the following single varietal wines and their rivers: sauvignon blanc (Rapel), cabernet sauvignon (Tinguiririca), carmenere (Cachapoal), malbec (Tinguiririca), merlot (Maule) and the new chardonnay (Rapel).
