Live from the CBC: Five Tips to Boost Profitability
Every bar or restaurant operator wants to increase profits, but it’s always a balancing act in terms of doing what’s right for your concept and your customer. During a panel discussion titled “Profits, Promotions and Pizzazz” at the Cheers Beverage Conference in Dallas Feb. 13, a panel of industry experts offered up some tips. Here are five of them.
Cheers Valentine’s Day Drinks – Part V
Love Potion #9
1 1/2 parts Cruzan 9 spiced rum
3/4 part DeKuyper tropical coconut
3 parts Pineapple juice
1 part Cranberry juice
Shake all ingredients with ice and pour into a highball glass. Garnish with a strawberry on the rim.

Mint Kiss
1 part Crave chocolate mint liqueur
1 part Pucker raspberry vodka
Combine ingredients in a mixing glass over ice and shake. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Liquid Romance
1 ½ oz. Vodka
1 oz. Crème de Violette
½ oz. White Crème de Cacao
2 oz. Chrysanthemum drink (found at most Asian markets)
Shake with ice and strain into an elegant glass rimmed with pink or lavender sugar.
