Mixology consultant Francesco LaFranconi of Southern Wine & Spirits took inspiration from the Taurus astrological sign when developing this drink for Intercontinental Hotels’ Astrology drinks campaign.
Ingredients:
1½ oz. Maker’s Mark Bourbon
1 oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 oz. Monin Pure Cane Syrup
2 tsp. Elixir G Ginger Mix
2 tsp. powdered egg white (optional)
1 orange twist for garnish
Directions:
Shake all ingredients together vigorously with two cups of ice. Strain and serve over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
